“In The Middle” is the song I’ve been waiting my whole life to write. I lost my dad when I was 7, and ever since, I’ve been trying to make sense of that kind of pain. My biggest hope is that this song helps someone else walk through their own loss—like it’s helped me walk through mine. This song is for Dad.
